چکیده
In the past few decades, huge surges and waves generated during tsunami events have caused devastating destruction to both onshore offshore infrastructures, seriously threatening safety intactness of coastal communities around world. As one most important protection a seawall can effectively reduce impact intensity waves, thus playing vital role in protecting regions. Most previous studies systematically investigated hydrodynamic characteristics seawalls under action regular irregular waves. Meanwhile, solitary wave models are often used as model for tsunamis. However, vast differences exist between real-world tsunamis terms profile period. Hence, our understanding performance mitigating damaging power is still insufficient. it great significance study comparison research, where profiles were models, parameterized tsunami-like based on recorded 2011 Japan applied this evaluate different by using nonhydrostatic numerical (NHWAVE). The effects prominent factors, such incident height, water depth, beach slope, side slope seawall, hydrodynamics discussed. It believed that research findings drawn from further broaden

A numerical solution of variable order diusion and wave equations
In this work, we consider variable order difusion and wave equations. The derivative is describedin the Caputo sence of variable order. We use the Genocchi polynomials as basic functions andobtain operational matrices via these polynomials. These matrices and collocation method help usto convert variable order diusion and wave equations to an algebraic system. Some examples aregiven to show the...
متن کاملGPU-SPH simulation of Tsunami-like wave interaction with a seawall associated with underwater
Investigation of the waves generated by underwater disturbances gives precious insight into the effect of man-made underwater explosions as well as natural phenomena, such as underwater volcanoes or oceanic meteor impact. On the other hand, prediction of the effects of such waves on the coastal installations and structures is required for preparation worthwhile criteria for coastal engineers to...
متن کاملSolution of Wave Equations Near Seawalls by Finite Element Method
A 2D finite element model for the solution of wave equations is developed. The fluid is considered as incompressible and irrotational. This is a difficult mathematical problem to solve numerically as well as analytically because the condition of the dynamic boundary (Bernoulli’s equation) on the free surface is not fixed and varies with time. The finite element technique is applied to solve non...
متن کاملNumerical investigation of free surface flood wave and solitary wave using incompressible SPH method
Simulation of free surface flow and sudden wave profile are recognized as the most challenging problem in computational hydraulics. Several Eulerian/Lagrangian approaches and models can be implemented for simulating such phenomena in which the smoothed particle hydrodynamics method (SPH) is categorized as a proper candidate. The incompressible SPH (ISPH) method hires a precise incompressible hy...
